Women in Biotech 2026: Beyond the Promise brings together the people shaping the future of life sciences - researchers, founders, healthcare professionals, investors, industry leaders, institutions and the next generation of talent.

Since 2020, Women in Biotech has grown from an annual initiative into a community. In 2026, it takes the next step: becoming a year-round platform connecting women across science, biotech, healthcare, innovation, entrepreneurship and investment.

The 2026 edition launches this new chapter inside Ateities Trajektorija / Future Fair at Istorijų namai in Vilnius - an exhibition dedicated to Lithuanians shaping the future.

Across three days, Women in Biotech will combine a professional conference, discussions and networking with a public-facing exhibition of science, research and life-science innovation.

The programme explores four interconnected areas:

Women’s Health — science, diagnostics, neuroscience, digital health and the evidence gaps that still shape women’s healthcare.

Leadership - who gets heard, who makes decisions and how scientists can take a stronger role in public conversations.

Innovation & Funding - turning research into solutions, commercialisation, investment and access to capital.

Community - building the networks, mentorship and connections needed for progress to continue beyond a single event.
